July 2007	Mount Clutterbuck My father and I set off to British Columbia to climb Mount Clutterbuck. The expedition took 8 days of hiking, climbing, glacier travel and rock climbing. The photos can be found here. A full account of our travels will follow.
November 2006	PhD Graduation As of the 28th November, I am officially a doctor! The graduation ceremony was held up in Edinburgh in the McEwan Hall - which is a very impressive venue. More impressive was the fact that the Honorary graduand was the President of the EU Commission. The picture shows Katherine (my partner) and myself posing outside the hall.
November 2006	Indigo Intellectual Property I am now the proud owner of the domain name 'www.indigointellectualproperty.co.uk'. Until now, the content for this site has been hosted on this domain. Please have a look and let me know what you think.
September 2006	Queen Mary Certificate in IP Started the Queen Mary Certificate in Intellectual Property course. This is a 3-month intensive course into the theory behind working as a patent or trademark attorney. Successful examinations at the end of the course will give me exemption from the professional foundation exams.
September 2006	IPET Bursary Today, I was awarded an IPET bursary of £2850 to pay for my Queen Mary Certificate in IP. This prestigious award is only awarded to two or three people each year so I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.
March 2006	New Zealand I've just spent 3 weeks touring around New Zealand and Singapore. The trip was fantastic - including a decent dose of adrenalin all the way round. I'll get photos up at some point. Below is one of my recent paintings of Milford Sound (Mitre Peak).
February 2006	PhD Viva I have successfully passed my viva. Hooray!
January 2006	Sagittarius IPC I'm now working for an intellectual property firm in Marlow. It's only a short-term contract as they can't fully support me as a full-time trainee. Hopefully, I'll get a permanent position soon though..
November 2005	New Website Address. I have now moved my website to www.drclutterbuck.co.uk and updated most of the pages. There is also a new section on Patents. Please let me know what you think.
October 2005	PhD Thesis Completed. After three years of study at Edinburgh University, I have finished my thesis. It is entitled "Compuational Analyses of A-I RNA Editing". Only the viva to go and I'm a doctor.
June 2005	Sponsored Sky-Dive. Kristy & myself did a sponsored sky-dive at St.Andrews. An amazing experience and we raised over £450 for the National Autistic Society.
